It’s Netflix…for games.

Almost everyone has heard of Netflix by now - Movies in the mail, watch and return in a pre-paid envelope, choose the next one you want and repeat. Neat concept, but perhaps a bit of hassle for a movie that is done in 90 minutes. Even despite this, Netflix is wildly popular, so you know the basic concept is sound.
When I recently came across a similar service, but for games I knew it would be epic.
All the major consoles are offered, including Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation 2&3. It has free shipping, 5000 games and you keep them as long as you want. I figured for $9 I'd give it a shot (since that's basically the price of a single rental at Blockbuster) and I have to say I'm impressed.
The game showed up at my door just a couple days after signing up (I chose Fable II) and I've been playing for a few weeks now, guilt free (something I couldn't say when I kept Blockbuster releases). After I felt like I was ready for a change, I selected the next game and dropped Fable back in the mailbox. Voila, the next game came and I was enjoying a whole new title. Wicked.
If this had existed a few years ago I wouldn't have boxes full of games in my basement, since I typically get bored after a few weeks.
There's a 2-game, 10 day free trial going on right now. Check it out!
